The natural disaster of flooding at the end of 2021 occurred in 6 villages in Bengalon District, namely Sepaso Village, South Sepaso Village, East Sepaso Village, West Sepaso Village, Tepian Langsat Village, Muara Bengalon Village. This natural disaster affected approximately 2000 residents of Bengalon.

As a form of real concern for the flood disaster that occurred in Bengalon, PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI), which is part of the Bengalon Community Relations Forum (FCRB), which is a forum consisting of PT KPC contractor companies in the Bengalon area, moved quickly to distribute 1,000 aid. more food packages for residents affected by the flood. The flood victims at least received aid packages in the form of basic necessities containing rice, granulated sugar, cooking oil, eggs, coffee, tea and instant noodles. The aid distribution activities themselves first coordinate with the Bengalon District Government.

The symbolic handover of aid was carried out on December 10 2021 at the BCRD PT KPC Bengalon Office. Some of the assistance was handed over directly by the company representative PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk, namely Mr. Khaerul Imam, to several flood victims witnessed by representatives of BCRD PT KPC management as well as several PT KPC contractor companies operating in the Bengalon area.

The Bengalon District Government welcomes and is grateful for the assistance from companies that are members of the FCRB, one of which is PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk through the Corporate Socialization Responsibility (CSR) program because they are not only doing business in the District area. Bengalon but also plays an active role in the surrounding communities experiencing flood disasters.
